Our preferred provider for student accommodation is TasTAFE Student Accommodation, located nearby in Clarence. This is comfortable and convenient motel-style unit accommodation at an affordable price for short and long term stays. Rooms are available all-year-round (subject to availability) and prior booking is essential.
Please be aware that accommodation in Hobart is in very high demand at present. We recommend that you book accommodation with TasTAFE Clarence at least three months in advance.

The facility has two residence buildings. Each building has:

- fully equipped laundry
- range of table sports including table-tennis and pool
Each unit contains:
- 4-5 single bedrooms
- shared lounge/dining area with colour TV
- shared fully equipped kitchens with fridge, toaster, cutlery, crockery, stove / microwave
- shared bathroom with shower and separate toilet
- heating
Each single bedroom contains:
- desk and chair
- desk lamp
- bed and full bedding
- built-in wardrobe and shelves
- heater

- Units are serviced daily
- Car parks are located next to each building and are lit at night
- Metro buses pass the campus on a regular basis
- Lawn area and BBQs available for guest use
- Residence supervisor onsite to assist guests
- Check-in is available Sunday to Thursday each week between 3:30 pm and 11:00 pm
