We have modern training aeroplanes with advanced avionics for ab-initio/navigation training. Ab-initio training is conducted in the latest model Aircraft Cessna 172 “S” models. The Cessna 172 is the world’s most popular and versatile training aircraft; with its high wing design and modern avionics, it is ideal for training students.
Commercial training is conducted in a Cessna 206 aircraft, an aircraft routinely used for single engine commercial operations throughout Australia, and around the world. This gives the student experience in a ‘real world’ commercial aircraft.
Students will have the opportunity to gain experience with Garmin GPS in their training as well as benefit from flying into remote and challenging airfields around Tasmania.
All our aircraft are serviced in accordance with the Australian Government Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s Maintenance Standards.
