The range of courses and options available can seem a bit daunting at first. But don’t worry, help is at hand! This guide provides an overview and initial guidance on which course might best suit your goals and circumstances.

Plus, our friendly staff are available to answer your questions and provide further guidance seven days a week.

If you’re new to the world of flying and wondering where to start, please read our advice on ‘Which training path?‘ first.

If you’re unsure of any of the terms on this page, please see the glossary at the bottom of the page.

Types of courses and outcomes

We offer three types of courses:

DIPLOMA COURSES are nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training courses. Students graduate with a nationally recognised diploma qualification. A diploma course also includes relevant CASA qualification/s (eg a licence) which are integrated into the course.

CASA COURSES include our licences, endorsements, and ratings courses. Students who successfully complete a course are issued their licence, endorsement, and/or rating by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

OTHER COURSES are short courses and workshops with one-off enrolments. Course outcomes may include a non-accredited Certificate of Completion or Certificate of Attendance.
