Version 1.1 | 01-03-2024
We recognise that students have varying learning needs and abilities. We are committed to identifying and addressing individual training needs and assisting students to achieve their learning goals.
Our instructors and trainers are trained and committed to assist each student with their progress through the course and their individual learning needs. Our instructors and trainers are the first point of contact for concerns about student progress, learning and assessments.
If students experience further issues with their study, they should contact the Student Support Officer who will arrange for appropriate internal support. These services are provided at no extra cost to the student and may involve:
- advice
- diagnostic testing for language, literacy, and/or numeracy issues
- one-on-one, or small group mentoring/coaching
- sourcing alternative learning resources.
Students may be further referred to external support services. These services may be provided free-of-charge, or on a fee-for-service basis (payable by the student):
- professional counselling
- professional psychology
- specialist language, literacy, and/or numeracy support.
