Version 1.2 | 10/08/2022
Training and assessment is delivered by staff who have:
- the relevant vocational/technical competencies including CASA approved flight instructor ratings;
- current industry skills; and
- current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that also informs their training and assessment.
All training and assessment staff continue to develop and improve their training and assessment and vocational/technical competencies. This is necessary to ensure that our courses are always aligned with current industry requirements, and therefore assessed to the standard required by industry.
We have policies and procedures in place for the recruitment, selection and induction of all teaching staff.
Assignment of instructors, trainers and assessors to students
Students may – for any given flight lesson, class or briefing – be assigned to any of our current flight instructors, trainers, or assessors. This ensures students have access to a broad range of experience and allows for maximum flexibility in scheduling. Students are not given a choice in the staff member/s they are assigned, and are not permitted to request assignment or non-assignment of any specific staff member.
