The aim of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework is national consistency in the way Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are registered and monitored, and how standards in the VET sector are enforced.
The VET Quality Framework comprises the:
- Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015;
- Australian Qualifications Framework.
- Fit and proper person requirements;
- Financial Viability Risk Assessment requirements; and
- Data Provision Requirements;
Par Avion Flight Training is committed to the VET Quality Framework. As part of our obligations within the framework, we are responsible for:
- the quality of the training and assessment in compliance with the RTO Standards
- the issuance of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) certification documentation
- our obligations to overseas students
- workplace and aviation safety
- upholding learner’s rights, including:
- complaints and appeals processes
- privacy and personal information
- informing students of any third-party arrangements in our enrolment information
- informing current and enrolled students in writing of any significant change in business ownership
- consumer rights, including up-front-fees and refunds
- arrangements and rights if a course is cancelled due to closure of the RTO, or where the RTO cannot continue to deliver a training product, including tuition assurance.
